## Terms

Updated 15 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Atlas ("Atlas", "we", "us"). Using Atlas means you accept them.

### Licence and plans

Atlas is licensed, not sold. Signed in, your Atlas team may work on one project at a time on your Mac, free. Each project in development on your organisation's server needs a licence, and a licence also lets the team work on one more project at once on a Mac. A licence covers developing with Atlas, not the software you build: that is yours to run anywhere, for any number of users. Do not share your account, resell Atlas, or work around its checks. Current prices are on the [Pricing](https://bridge-terminal.com/atlas/pricing.html) page.

### The free trial

Each organisation gets 30 days from sign-up with one project in development on its server included, once. A personal account is an organisation of one, and a cloud account carries one trial however many organisations use it. When the trial ends, projects on the server pause with their work saved; nothing is deleted, and buying a licence starts them again.

### Paying for licences

Licences are billed monthly in advance, per project in development at the same time, through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; local tax is added where it applies. Your organisation's admin assigns licences to people or to the server, and a licence can move once a month. You can cancel at any time: your licences then last until the end of the month you paid for. Refunds are covered by our [refund policy](https://bridge-terminal.com/atlas/refunds.html). If a payment fails and is not put right within 7 days, the licences it paid for stop and the projects using them pause, with their work saved. We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email; a change applies from your next payment after that.

### Your accounts and your costs

Atlas works through accounts you own: your Claude account, your git hosting, and, in the cloud version, your DigitalOcean account. You are responsible for following those services' terms and for what they charge. Atlas shows what it spends, and in the cloud version lets you set a budget, but the bills are yours.

### Your work

The code and documents Atlas produces for your project belong to you. Review what it ships before you rely on it, as you would any engineer's work.

### Reports

The Atlas app sends a daily usage report, described on the [Privacy](https://bridge-terminal.com/atlas/privacy.html) page.

### No warranty

Atlas is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits arising from its use, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for your licence in the twelve months before the claim.

### Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed.
